2013 Teen Choice Awards -- Country Takeover

The 2013 Teen Choice Awards have just announced additional nominations, and it’s no surprise that superstars Taylor Swift and Luke Bryan have gained some additional nominations.

‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and ‘Crash My Party’ earned Taylor and Luke nominations for Choice Country Song. It will be a tight competition to see who will go home with the surfboard. Florida Georgia Line‘s ‘Cruise,’ Blake Shelton‘s ‘Boys ‘Round Here’ featuring Pistol Annies & friends and Hunter Hayes‘ ‘I Want Crazy’ are all looking to win the prize, too.

‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ has also placed Taylor among nominees for Choice Single-Female Artist, and alongside Selena Gomez, Anna Kendrick, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus.

Country music is represented well for the Choice Break-Up Song, as Taylor’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ hit is nominated, as well as country trio the Band Perry‘s ‘Done’ — their second nomination this year.

For this second round, Taylor ties with Bruno Mars for a whopping three nominations, and so far, she has doubled her nominations for the Fox event, with a total of six nods.

Last year, Taylor was nominated for five awards, including the prestigious Choice Female Artist, and took home every single one.

Luke Bryan isn’t a stranger to being nominated at these teen-voted awards, either — he was up for Choice Male Country Artist last year.

You can watch the 2013 Teen Choice Awards on August 11th starting at 8pm on FOX.
