The HEARING WAS ORIGINALLY GOING TO BE HEARD AS PART OF A FULL DAY OF HEARINGS THAT DAY AT DALLAS HIGH SCHOOL, BUT THE Superior Court ordered thE CHANGE YESTERDAY. Sandusky IS SERVING 30 TO 60 YEARS AT THE STATE PRISON NEAR WAYNESBURG.

IN CAMBRIA COUNTY COURT YESTERDAY, Prosecutors rested their case against 38 YEAR OLD BRIAN ROLES SENIOR OF East Taylor Township. HE’S charged WITH VEHICULAR HOMICIDE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FOR THE 2012 crash THAT KILLED HIS 16 YEAR OLD SON, BRIAN JUNIOR. ACCORDING TO THE TRIBUNE DEMOCRAT, AN expert testified the teen was “catapulted” from the truck’s passenger side…WHICH could not have HAPPENED if the BOY was DRIVING unless the vehicle was traveling more than twice as fast.
A DOCTOR ALSO TESTIFIED THAT ROLES SENIOR TOLD HIM HE WAS DRIVING.

A BLAIR COUNTY JUDGE HAS ORDERED FORMER ALTOONA POLICE OFFICER DUANE EICHENLAUB TO PAY EARL ESHELMAN NEARLY 10-THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR HIS OUT-OF-POCKET MEDICAL EXPENSES. EICHENLAUB IS APPEALING HIS 11-AND-A-HALF TO 23 MONTH JAIL SENTENCE FOR ASSAULTING ESHELMAN AT PELLEGRINE’S BAR IN 2010. EARLIER THIS WEEK, HIS ATTORNEYS SAID IT WAS ILLEGAL WHEN THE SENTENCING JUDGE SET RESTITUTION AT 1 DOLLAR AND GAVE ESHELMAN 30 DAYS TO SUBMIT HIS FINAL EXPENSES.

CAMBRIA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES WENT TO WOODLAND CAMPGROUND IN CAMBRIA TOWNSHIP YESTERDAY. THEY FOUND A LOADED HANDGUN, 5 Assault rifles, LOADED SYRINGES, AND drugs inSIDE a camper, ALL WITHIN REACH OF A 2 YEAR OLD CHILD. Police ARRESTED Joshua Holliday and Daniel Taddy WHO were wanted on warrants AND HAD BEEN on the run for months. THE TODDLER’S MOTHER, Whitney Norbin, is facing child endangerment and drug charges. the boy IS now in the custody of his grandmother.

penn state and state college boro are teaming up to help connect local residents. university president rodney erickson, mayor elizabeth goreham, and other local leaders will walk through boro neighborhoods from 5:15 to 8 tonight during the 6th annual “living in one neighborhood walk.” they will welcome students and provide information about downtown regulations and services.
