LOGAN TOWNSHIP POLICE HAVE RELEASED THE NAME OF THE WOMAN KILLED IN A MOTORCYCLE CRASH MONDAY AFTERNOON. 42-year-old KIMBERLY ROMANO OF ANTIS TOWNSHIP was RIDING her BIKE BEHIND HER HUSBAND’S WHEN SHE RAN OFF East 6th Avenue road.
Romano was tAKEN to UPMC Altoona where she died.

HUNTINGDON Police SAY A DRIVER WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT YESTERDAY MORNING. 70 year old TYRONE BOWERS was APPARENTLY stumbling and walked in front of a car AT the intersection of 6th and Penn Streets. Police say BOWERS WASN’T IN A CROSSWALK…the driver wasn’t speeding…and wasn’t breaking any OTHER laws. Bowers was flown to UPMC Altoona.

A Harrisburg court will hear the state's case for a law against gay marriage today. THE elected MONTGOMERY county register has issued marriage licenses to more than 150 same-sex couples in recent weeks. His stance is that the law is unconstitutional because it discriminates against people based on sexual orientation. The state's Department of Health filed the lawsuit to make him stop.
