Florals for spring? Inspired. Yes, we know it’s an infamous quote from The Devil Wears Prada, but its true florals in spring are always going to be in style.
This season though, as well as adorning our clothing they’re taking prime spot on our heads.
Oversized floral headbands aren’t just for festival fashion anymore; Pixie Lott even wore one on the red carpet recently.
She paired the yellow flowers with a simple black column dress; perfect to bring your wardrobe into spring with one item.
ASOS and Topshop have some great versions to buy on the high street.Lana Del Rey is also a big fan of the trend, even wearing it on the cover of one of her singles.
Again, this trend works perfectly for festivals and whilst on holiday, but try it in your everyday wardrobe too. Just keep the rest of the look plain and simple like Pixie.
Neutral make-up, no earrings or necklaces – all focus should be placed on the headband.
But don’t worry if these are a little too big for your tastes, because there are plenty of smaller floral headbands that you could try to introduce you to the trend.
Will you be going big?
Here we’ve picked out some of our favourite big pieces that you can shop now, we’ve also included some of the smaller versions too.
