Top 25 Thanksgiving Day Movies

So you ate the turkey and are headed to the couch to watch some tv, don't feel like a parade or football game, how about a movie ?

 Here is a list of some of the top 25 movies related to Thanksgiving.

1. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles - Neil Page is trying to get home to his family for Thanksgiving in this funny comedy.

2. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving - Peppermint Patty has many demands on Thanksgiving day in this holiday classic

3. Pocahontas - The Disney told Story of Pocahontas as she meets John Smith for the first time.

4. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Alvin's Thanksgiving celebration - An entertaining Chipmunk cartoon full of lessons geared toward Thanksgiving.

5. Miracle on 34th street - This movie actually starts on Thanksgiving Day, even though it's more of a Christmas movie.

6. Funny People - A funny comedian finds out that he's dying and brings aboard an up and coming comedian to help him not only with jokes, but to help him get his life back together .

7. Son in law - A farmer's daughter comes home over Thanksgiving weekend and brings her not so typical friend who she lies is her fiancé, while trying to avoid a proposal from her old boyfriend.

8. The New World - A film telling the romantic story of Pocahontas and john smith.

25. Alice's Restaurant Arlo Guthrie's song is converted into a motion picture. Arlo goes to see Alice for Thanksgivng and as a favor takes her trash to the dump. When the dump is closed, he drops it on top of another pile of garbage at the bottom of a ravine. When the local sheriff finds out a major manhunt begins. Arlo manages to survive the courtroom experience but it haunts him when he is to be inducted into the army via the draft.
